Ping pong has never been very exciting unless Forrest Gump was playing it or if it was called beer pong. But like many other “sports” that don’t take a lot of athletic ability, it cracked its way into the Olympics.

The table tennis gurus have finally realized that sex sells and want players to dress sexier. And we’re OK with this.

“We are trying to push the players to use skirts and also nicer shirts, not the shirts that are made for men, but ones with more curves,” International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) vice president Claude Bergeret said.

So far Japan’s Naomi Yotsumoto has tried to dress sexier. A for effort but it’s still not enough. We’re excited that this issue is being addressed, though. This is what it could look like in the future:
