John Madden is going to do something he hasn’t done in years.

No, he’s not doing any jump-n-jacks. But he will be missing his first Sunday Night Football game after calling 476 in a row.

He’s not sick and he hasn’t been replaced by Frank Caliendo. He’s just damn tired of traveling and wants to spend some time with his family, according to NBC.

Our only question is — since Madden doesn’t fly because of a fear of heights — why the hell doesn’t he just take his family with him on his BUS that he uses to get around the country?

We’re talking about a bus here. Not a car, not a van, not an RV. A bus. You can’t fit a family in a bus?
