Henderson should wear brimmed black hat on Cooperstown plaque

There’s almost no question Ricky Henderson will be voted into the Hall of Fame.

After all, he played 25 seasons in the major leagues, scoring 2,295 runs and swiping 1,406 bases. Henderson amassed 3,055 hits, including 297 home runs.

But the question is, playing for nine different teams, which cap would he represent on his Cooperstown plaque? It’s not as simple as choosing the Yankees over the Red Sox.

Our suggestion: Just sport the brimmed black hat he had on with white pants and an open white shirt at a Mariners/Athletics game last July.

Now that’s literally covering all the bases.
