Marbury buys attention
New York. Los Angeles.
Those are two of the largest, most popular cities in America, not to mention sports cities. So when the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Lakers square up to play one another, you know the game is going to be on television.
But someone forgot to tell that to Stephon Marbury. The teamless player bought a ticket to the game between the two teams since he was asked not to participate as a player.
Seriously?
Are you starved for that much attention?
Would Ronald McDonald continue to buy Big Macs if he was asked to remove his red nose and over-sized shoes for a while?
