Cardinals already have a book?

Obviously, the terms “Super Bowl” and “Arizona Cardinals” don’t often associate with each other. In fact, I’ll give the terms “Osama Bin Laden” and “Free Subway Foot-long Sandwich For Patrons Wearing Patriotic T-Shirts” a better shot at being mixed together in the same sentence.

So, it’s kinda rare. So rare, that The Arizona Republic decided to go ahead and write a book about your 2008 NFL Champions. Not that they have another game to play for, or anything like that, but you can order your copy today before they’re sold out.

It’s estimated to begin shipping February 18 — really, for no reason. Is this a sign of “Well, even if the Cards lose, fuck it we wrote a book?” Or will it be entirely necessary for this publication to collect dust under the “Flying High: We Actually Did It” edition of The Arizona Republic‘s encore book.

It’s like ordering an AL East champions t-shirt, or NBA Conference Finals hat. If your team wins their next game, then you’ll most certainly be purchasing the championship-level aparel. If they lose, then the memory of losing gets stuck in your dome.
