BREAKING: Buzzsaw gone wild: Porn interrupts AZ Super Bowl viewers
UPDATED 10:35 p.m. MT: The Super Bowl. You know, that iconic attraction of worldwide television.
So, in light of the five-year anniversary of Janet Jackson’s infamous nipple slipping, there had to be a renewed controversial on America’s biggest spotlight. This time, it was straight up porn.
Comcast’s Tucson, Ariz., viewers not only saw their hometown team fall short of an epic Super Bowl upset, but in the process of the game, they witnessed some hardcore sexytime:
The Star newsroom erupted with calls from irate viewers shortly after 7:30 p.m. who said that the porn cut into the broadcast just after Cardinals player Larry Fitzgerald scored a touchdown on a pass from Kurt Warner to give the Cardinals the lead with less than two minutes in the game.
Callers said that the clip showed a woman unzipping a man's pants and included full frontal male nudity.
The porn broke into the standard definition feed reaching analog TV sets. Comcast's high definition feed was not affected. Maslyn did not know how many homes were affected.
