LeBron has surgery to remove end-of-season aftertaste
LeBron had a bad aftertaste in his mouth following his team’s series loss to the Orlando Magic to end Cleveland’s series. The aftertaste was so terrible, in fact, he had surgery to remove it.
From ESPN:
LeBron James was playing with a health issue through the end of the season and the playoffs that has now been taken care of.
The Cleveland Cavaliers star underwent successful surgery on Tuesday at Cleveland Clinic to remove a benign growth in his mouth, the team said. Specifically, Dr. Frank Papay removed the growth from James’ parotid gland, which produces saliva, in a five-hour procedure.
Wonder if Dwight Howard will have to have the sweet taste of victory removed from his mouth soon. Dr. Kobe Bryant, M.D., says yes.
