Scouting Report: Lakers Girls vs. Celtics Dancers

At this point in time, anyone who knows even the slightest bit about sports knows what a historic rivalry the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers make up. Magic vs. Bird is the old school matchup that no one will forget. Kobe vs. The Big Three is what’s hot today.

With Boston up 1-0 in the series and Game 2 on tap for tonight, let’s take a look at the matchups between some of the other current Lakers and Celtics. No, not the players, the girls. The Celtics Dancers square up against the ever-popular Lakers Girls. The Sports Culture scouted the girls using their online profiles, but it wasn’t as easy as it sounds. The Dancers practically pour their hearts out in their profiles, while the Lakers Girls reveal little about themselves. We’re not going to say it was unbearable, though.

That said, here’s the starting lineups:

Playing for both sides
Whitney

This is Whitney’s first year as a Laker Girl. But she knows about her team’s opponent very well. She was a Celtics Dancer last year. We’re guessing that it got a little to nippy living on the east coast, which is what brought her back to the LA area. Well, that and she graduated from UCLA and digs surfing. Think she can ride a longboard?

WINNER: LA

Blonde bombers
Haley BOS and Tiffany LA

Haley’s a college gal who mentored at a high school for pregnant teens in a rougher area of LA before moving to Boston. She’s a family person whose childhood memory involves the family horse. With her curly, bouncing locks, Tiffany has the visual advantage. She’s also a pro dancer for the film and television industry, like many other Laker Girls. So even though Haley would probably make the better date and get your heart quicker, we must remember that this is a battle between dancers.
WINNER: Tiffany

Brown sugar
Adrienne BOS and Angel LA

Adrienne was a ballerina at Indiana University. Angel is a graduate from The American Musical Dramatic Academy in New York. Obviously both can dance and have unique backgrounds. Angel has a fine arts major and is into charcoal drawing and roller skating. Adrienne’s guilty pleasure is Spongbob Sqarepants. Need we say more?
WINNER: Angel

Water girls
Rebecca BOS and Jeri-Faye LA

These girls love to get wet. Rebecca calls herself a “total beach bum,” even though she’s a “Midwestern girl at heart.” Her childhood memory is swimming with dolphins in the Keys until a jellyfish stung her. Jeri-Faye lists Scuba diving, boating and water skiing in her list of hobbies. Rebecca was the first one in her family to become Scuba certified when she did it at age 12.
WINNER: Rebecca

Foreign girls
Rachel BOS and Annika LA

OK, these two ladies may not be foreign at all. But they can probably hold their own in a foreign country. Rachel was born in Russia. Annika is a communication major with a minor in German at UCLA. Annika enjoys crossword puzzles, cooking, spending time with her family and reading. Rachel is a bit more active, as she wants to be the CEO of a top pharmaceutical company.
WINNER: Rachel

Girls with porn star names
Cherie BOS and Jenna LA

Cherie has a perfect name for her biggest ambition: she currently study culinary arts and nutrition and would love to host her own show on the Food Network. Jenna’s into golf, reading, running and snowboarding. If we could only get her to enjoy food a little more, TSC is willing to bet that a sexy food fight would be happen. Jenna’s Cool Whip and a Cherie on top.
WINNER: Cherie
