I’m not much into video games, but I just learned that Wii will soon have a beer pong game. And since I am part of The Sports Culture, where we bring you coverage “from stadiums to hotel rooms with athletes and red cups,” I just might get into video games a bit when this game comes out.

JVC Games Inc. will release “Frat Games – Beer Pong” for the Nintendo Wii in mid-July, giving seizures to all paranoid mothers alike. It’s going to be the first game in a series of “Frat Party” games from JVC and released on Wiiware, giving Wii-ers the most complete beer pong experience possible, minus the sticky floors and trick shots.

But wait, I spoke to soon. Trick shots aren’t completely eliminated. The game allows the player to shoot different styles of pong shots, from the arc to the bounce. Users will also have the choice of multiple table surfaces and locations, including a bar, a garage and — get this — a beach. True paradise.
