Move over Laura Croft. You’ve got competition.

Katrina Hodge goes by the nickname Combat Barbie because “I love pink but they know I can do the job. I’m proof that you don’t have to be butch to be in the forces.”

This 21-year-old served in the military and kicked ass. She earned a bravery commendation in 2005 for fighting off a suspected Iraqi insurgent who allegedly threatened her regiment. Combat Barbie punched a gunman to save the lives of two fellow soldiers.

Ooo. Feisty.

And now she’s one of the finalists in the 2008 Miss England pageant, which will have a winner on Friday.

“I was delighted to have been selected for the Miss England final and it is a great honor,” she told UPI.

If Hodge wins the national title in England, she would represent her country in the Miss World 2008 contest, not to mention all the girly girls in the world  who just feel like kicking ass every now and then.
