I am new at this, which tells you how annoyed I am about the biased way the press and tv are behaving. Onthe VIEW why did’nt the women ever ask John Kerry how many houses he had? They should be ashamed at their behavior.

where is the rest of the quote? when he says” Oboma 08″and where was Michelle O on 9/11 event? talk about a biased press! I heard this athlete say this awful remark once, and did did not see it anywhere again. Imagine the coverage if a white person said a similar commment about blacks.

Hey Dan Johnson, blacks never put whites into slavery. Good point Mike. It isnt even about just black athletes. Black Americans just feel that way because of the shameful chapter in American history regarding slavery. The kidnappings out of Africa, torture, injustices, lynchings, identity erasing, mistreatment of blacks in the whole of American history are forever lasting. There are still effects of slavery in America and to pretend like it never happened or there isn’t long lasting effects in our society is DENIAL. That’s why some folks don’t repsect the anthem. So when something like this happens(Josh Hamilton), it’s just the reflection of attitudes passed down by generations of black families in America because what their ancestors went through in “the land of the free.” Respect that. American history isn’t squeaky clean.

The Star spangled banner should mean nothing to blacks
it wasnt meant for them, it wasnt written with them in mind, and the song was writtin 40 years before slavery was abolished in all 50 states, the flag that Francis scott key wrote about in the SSB had 15 stars when he wrote the song to represent 15 states in the union that still promoted and felt slavery was legal.

Oh yeah and what about freedom of speech an opinion.

here are the words for the SSB (note the words FREE MEN ) in the original unedited poem and how it mentions slaves ( aka black people ).

The problem with most black folks is that they always talk about “keepin it real”. Okay, let’s do that. What’s “real” is that there is FAR MORE racism that exists on the black side than the white. They want to blame ‘whitey’ for their lot in life, and refuse to take personal responsibility for anything. People like Howard (most blacks) don’t respect this country at all. I say that if you are gonna come out and say things like he said, or if u don’t like this country and feel you’re getting a raw deal, then you should leave. Go to your homeland of Africa and whoop it up. I wish he, and any other black person who dislikes this country, would. This goes for white people, mexicans, or anyone else.

Videos like this show just how evil most black people are. And spare me the “most black people don’t feel that way’ crap, because it’s true. That, is “keepin it real”. Black people for the most part hate this country and what it has “done” to them. that is the truth. Don’t say I don’t know that for sure because I will say ” how do you know there is still rampant racism on the white side of things”? You don’t, because there isn’t. Yes, there are whites who are racist, but I can’t tell u the last time I heard a white guy use the “N” . The great MAJORITY of whites cringe, as I do, when I hear it. Even in groups where the nearest black person is miles away.

Videos like this show how black folks REALLY think and feel. They take this country for granted, and if anyone disrespects this country than they should LEAVE. But they won’t, because they would rather whine and bitch about things than take any personal responsibility. I feel that black people are the downfall of society. That is NOT a racist comment, it is simply “keepin it real”. Case in point: Africa. Just look at it. My God, it is a completely barbaric, back woods, continent that is REAL TRUTH. A look at Africa is a foregleam of what ANY country will become if black people are allowed to have control, and white people just want to give it away to absolve their false sense of guilt for what their forefathers did, even though it was blacks themselves who started and promulgated the slave trade. Nobody wants to acknowledge these truisms, and that is the big problem. Black people like Howard are evil individuals. Here is the door big guy. Please use it and “celebrate” your blackness in your homeland. Hey, I’m just keepin it real after all.

Let me see if I understand. This moron gets paid millions of dollars per year to play a kids’ game. He refuses to celebrate the anthem of the country that has given him the privilege,yes privilege, to make this obscene amount of money, due to a physical anomaly which allows him to run faster or hit other people harder than an average human being. He did nothing to earn what he makes, other than being born with athletic skills. He should be getting down on his knees thanking god that he was fortunate enough to be born in a country where someone who makes absolutely no contribution to the betterment of humanity whatsover, is paid more than a platoon of scientists from NASA, or the CDC, or the National Institutes for Health! If I owned his team, he would immediately be suspended, and not allowed back until he spent six months volunteering at a clinic in a third world country. In that way he would, (hopefully), appreciate how extremely lucky he is to be living in the greatest country the world has ever seen.
