Karma’s a Patriot

Fuck you

Fuck you

It’s over.

The suffering, torturous season for the New England Patriots has ended mercifully.

They’ve endured hits in every direction (literally) yet still posted a respectable and satisfying 11-5 record, all things considered.

But in the end, Karma gave one final punch-in-the-gut to the once evil SpyGate-ridden franchise.

Here’s a short Year of 2008 recap for the New England Patriots: They fell in the biggest upset in Super Bowl history to their rivals, squashing a perfect season; lost their God-status quarterback Tom Brady for the season, and maybe even 2009; suffered injuries of Tedy Bruschi, Richard Seymour, Laurence Maroney . . . hell even their former offensive coordinator Charlie Weis tore his ACL this year.

Amidst all the setbacks and diversity, Bill Belichick still managed to win 11 games. Que the karma machine: Yesterday, the Patriots missed the playoffs because arch-rival NY Brets blew it against Miami. Good thing there aren’t any 9-7 teams in the playoffs, because that wouldn’t be unfair.

I’m going to church next Sunday. Score some points up above.
