The REAL Mrs. Fisher seeking bait from the Fisherman

April 27th, 2009 Trance No comments

StalkerDerek Fisher, you’re soulmate awaits you!

You know because – wow, what a coincidence – there are two people in the world with the last name Fisher. Thus, Derek has finally found his boo bear. Or she found him.

Or not.  The Lakers’ player requested a restraining order against Symone Fisher, 40, who claims to be the wife of the basketball player. But D-Fish says he’s never met her before. He’s pretty convinced, too, that there was never a one-night Vegas thing that went down. After all, he behaves in Sin City.

But this is different. This isn’t some hotel room quickbang that wants more bait from the Fisherman. This chick changed her last name to be Mrs. Fisher. That was about four years after she sent him CDs with love songs for him. And that’s just freaky.

“Her repeated attempts to contact me, her delusional notions that we are married, her angry and hostile tirades against me, her appearance at my place of work, and her recent travels near and around my place of residence are all extremely frightening to me,” Derek Fisher said in a request for a restraining order.

We’re wondering if Kobe Bryant lent any advice to Fisher on this one. Maybe something along the lines of, “Stay away, or it will cost you $4 million.”

LeBron a kissing machine

April 26th, 2009 Trance No comments

Maybe his favorite pregame song is Chris Brown’s jam, “Kiss Kiss.” Or maybe the King is just a nice dude.

Just days before LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers kissed the Detroit Pistons goodbye in four straight games, he landed in a fan’s lap, and gave her a quick smooch on the side of the head.

That is how you lay your smack down.

WaaaaaangHeadline of the day: “Yankees place Wang on DL with hip weakness”

That’s just unfortunate. Story as follows:

BOSTON (AP) — The New York Yankees placed right-hander Chien-Ming Wang on the 15-day disabled list after Friday night’s 5-4 loss to the Boston Red Sox and recalled David Robertson from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

A spokesman for the Yankees said Wang has weakness in the abductor muscles in his hips that could be related to the right foot injury that sidelined him last year.

Robertson gives the Yankees another arm in the bullpen after the 11-inning loss to Boston. Phil Hughes is expected to be called up to pitch Tuesday in Detroit.

Wang was checked out Thursday by a soft-tissue expert, Dr. Mark Lindsay, the same doctor who has seen Alex Rodriguez. He played long toss and jogged in the outfield at the Yankees’ facility in Tampa, Fla, on Friday.

Wang threw 91 pitches Thursday in extended spring training, where he was sent after going 0-3 with a 34.50 ERA in his first three starts. He missed the final 3 1/2 months of last season with the foot injury but appeared healthy during spring training and has said he feels fine.

This beer man gets a huge tip

April 23rd, 2009 Trance No comments

Isn’t it amazing how this beer vendor attracts so much more attention at Cubs games than the actual game?
