Halloween is a great excuse to make fun of a sports figure. It’s an even better excuse to actually dress up like these sports figures. This Halloween weekend TSC caught sight of numerous costumes matching this criteria. Our favorites:

• Dog-fighting Michael Vick — Clawed-up Falcons jersey, handcuffs on wrists
• Plaxico Burress — A woman wore a New York Burress jersey and wore a bloody bandage on her leg
• Pacific 10 Conference Referee — Shades and a blind-man stick, with a jersey that had the Pac-10 logo taped on the back
• A-Roid — Alex Rodriguez Yankees jersey over a foam body builder costume. Syringe was a good touch
• Jackie Moon — A replica of Will Ferrell’s short hoops attire
