Not only is retired-by-default MLB player Barry Bonds hated by about 99.99 percent of the world for taking the all-time home run record with the help of steroids, but the world is going to hate his teen son as well.

Bonds’ 19-year-old son, Nikolai Bonds, was booked into San Mateo County jail in California on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and other crimes against Sun Bonds, 45, who divorced Barry in 1994.

The San Jose Mercury-News says Nikolai Bonds allegedly spit in his mother’s face Saturday and threw a metal doorknob so hard that it embedded in a wall after missing her.

Menlo Park police are still investigating and no charges have been filed, according to authorities, who said Bonds posted $50,000 bail and was released.

At least we know now that Barry Bonds’ son can hit, too.
