Agent Zero lashes back at premature pool pics

August 5th, 2008 Reezy No comments

D.C. sports blogger Dan Steinberg posted a few pictures of Gilbert Arenas’s pool a few weeks ago with the disclaimer that, “(Arenas) told the Wizards he was OK with them appearing on my blog.”

But yesterday, Agent Zero voiced his displeasure at how those pictures caught into the blogdome’s viral effect through his own blog:

I’m actually disappointed that those pictures are on the net. That’s part of my personal life that got out. I’m disappointed that somebody that doesn’t even work at my house any more took pictures and put them on the Internet. I don’t know if he sold them or if he just put them up there, but I think it’s wrong. But hey, that’s something that comes with the territory I guess.

The thing is with somebody like that, you trust them to be on your property and then they take pictures and put them online. It’s not what I expected. I found out because Daren from the Wizards PR told me, “Hey man, I saw your pool.” So I go, “Oh yeah, you stopped by?” “No, they got pictures online.” “Pictures online?”

‘Agent Zero’ to bring five of his best clones into contract

‘Free Agent’ signing? He’s far from free.

The ‘Agent Zero’ himself, Gilbert Arenas wants six zeroes, to be exact. Added bonus: he might actually leave room the Wizards to sign other players by ’settling’ for $100 million. Maybe.

That’s what six figures looks like. Although Arenas has also said “he doesn’t want to hamstring the team’s ability to sign other players.” A new report from ESPN.com says the Wizards and Warriors — now with cap room from a free Baron Davis — have offered max contracts, $120 million, to Arenas.

Davis surprisingly opted out of his deal at Golden State, and has now verbally agreed to a five-year deal with the Clippers, worth an estimated $65 million, according to ESPN. Looks like newly drafted PG Eric Gordon will get a mentor at the 1.

What? David Stern isn’t a total douche?

Tim Donaghy is the cat that swore he didn’t eat the pet bird, but he’s got feathers coming out of his mouth. And what does he do to counteract? He blames the dog.

The former NBA referee alleged that Game 6 of the Lakers-Kings playoff series in 2002 was impacted by the disgusting actions of two of the three zebras who worked the game, according to a filing made by Donaghy’s lawyer in U.S. District Court in New York yesterday.

You got caught for gambling on the game, Donaghy. Take your fines and your prison sentencing like a damn man and quit pointing your gambling fingers.

The NBA’s commissioner, David Stern is in an uproar, and for good reason. He “vehemently denied the allegations, saying they are the desperate act of a convicted felon,” according to Chris Sheridan of ESPN.com. “We welcome scrutiny here. This is something that should be scrutinized.”

This season was going great. No more gambling refs, a Superman cameo at the NBA All-Star game and a Finals between the most historical rivalry in the sport.

It was like the Hollywood masterpiece that somehow made it through the writers’ strike.
