Baron Davis sings subliminal lyrics to Warriors

August 15th, 2008 Reezy 3 comments

Baron Davis seems to really be diggin’ the whole viral video concept. First, his bizarre cycling and dancing antics with Steve Nash became an instant Internet classic. Now to top that, he’s intriguing the cyber world with an underlying shot at Golden State brass.

Baron began his latest multimedia extravaganza with authority, as the self-proclaimed “best karaoke on the web cam” with his rendition of Maroon 5’s “Won’t Go Home Without You.”

Now the conspiracy: Davis sings the lyrics: “it’s not over tonight, just give me one more chance to make it right. … I won’t go home without you” … all while a bobblehead of Warriors GM Chris Mullin stands visible in the spotlight, adorned by a stack of dollar bills. Coincidence?

Alas, the Baron-Nash video surfaces

Cute couple, I think Navis would work, going with the whole tabloid-esque ‘one name, one couple trend.’ Or Bash.

The city of Los Angeles just got a lot more fuzzier and Baron Davis’ wallet just got a lot fatter. Maybe now he can buy a razor, before his beard eats everything in sight!

‘Agent Zero’ to bring five of his best clones into contract

‘Free Agent’ signing? He’s far from free.

The ‘Agent Zero’ himself, Gilbert Arenas wants six zeroes, to be exact. Added bonus: he might actually leave room the Wizards to sign other players by ’settling’ for $100 million. Maybe.

That’s what six figures looks like. Although Arenas has also said “he doesn’t want to hamstring the team’s ability to sign other players.” A new report from ESPN.com says the Wizards and Warriors — now with cap room from a free Baron Davis — have offered max contracts, $120 million, to Arenas.

Davis surprisingly opted out of his deal at Golden State, and has now verbally agreed to a five-year deal with the Clippers, worth an estimated $65 million, according to ESPN. Looks like newly drafted PG Eric Gordon will get a mentor at the 1.
