Before we even begin to discuss how dope or funky these slotted shades — aka Shutter Shades – are, let us set the record straight as to who rocked them first. At the beginning of 2008, Kanye West used the shutter shades to help promote his summer Glow in the Dark Tour, then they became a big part of his concert. The rapper even had a reader send in a picture of a baby with
a pair of the shades on, which Kanye posted on his blog.
But as Brandon Jennings proved at the McDonald’s All-American game with his Gumby hair cut, he’s very fashionably loud. So what better to go with the high flat top than a pair of Kanye-esc slotted shades?
It’s not like Jennings had to look very far to get them. You can get one white pair for $3.95 or a dozen white pairs of the slotted shades for $15. If you’re more into a name brand and more colors, Shutter Shades is your outlet.
But no matter where Jennings got his Shutters, one thing is for sure: just like Kanye, he’s an international icon now. Hair. Shades. Skills. He’s gonna shake the globe when his shoes come out. Don’t worry about the fact that he (and Kanye) probaby can’t see shit through them.

College football season is right around the corner and that means it’s time to get decked out in t-shirts that absolutely bash your school’s rival into submission. We started with our anti-ASU shirt but Shame-U has many, many more for the biggest rivalries in the nation. Many of them are downright hilarious.
What’s really funny, though, is that the best shirt doesn’t pertain to any team at all. Instead, it’s all about one certain long-legged ESPN reporter who is known around the blogosphere as simply EA. The Mr. Erin Andrews shirts were good, but Shame-U’s “Erin Andrews is a R.I.L.F.” is genius.
You can rock this shirt no matter who’s playing who and you’ll almost always be on the good side. Then when it’s basketball season, guess what? You can wear it some more. When you’re dreaming about EA being a R.I.L.F. at night — you know it — it’s your new nighty. You really can’t lose with this shirt. Unless you just don’t like hot women who happen to have amazing sports jobs.

Baron Davis seems to really be diggin’ the whole viral video concept. First, his bizarre cycling and dancing antics with Steve Nash became an instant Internet classic. Now to top that, he’s intriguing the cyber world with an underlying shot at Golden State brass.
Baron began his latest multimedia extravaganza with authority, as the self-proclaimed “best karaoke on the web cam” with his rendition of Maroon 5’s “Won’t Go Home Without You.”
Now the conspiracy: Davis sings the lyrics: “it’s not over tonight, just give me one more chance to make it right. … I won’t go home without you” … all while a bobblehead of Warriors GM Chris Mullin stands visible in the spotlight, adorned by a stack of dollar bills. Coincidence?
Nothing’s better than an enthusiastically hilarious professional athlete who can keep the media and fans cracking up. It shows they are truly human and fun. Shaq is one of these guys. Eric Byrnes is another example. Sammy Sosa was one of those guys, too.
But one of the best ways to express your fun side if you’re a pro athlete is through the Internet. Yes, the cyberworld opens you up to a much larger audience. Some of the best NBA guys have latched onto this.
Kobe jumping over cars and snakes became popular because of the net. Gilbert Arenas never fails to amaze readers on his blog. And Greg Oden is kinda like a giant teddy bear. But don’t forget about Channing Frye, either.
