The Jenn Sterger of Gainesville: Would You Beat?

Would You Beat?

Oh hello there.

Move over, Jenn Sterger, you’re not the only football babe in the Sunshine state.

Meet the Gator Girl Heidi, who debuted this photo album in August.

It’s only a matter of time before ESPN snatches a ten-second clip of Heidi going bazonkers in the stands, followed by the obligatory “oh, wow, thousands of students just submitted an application to UF” commentary.

Put Sterger, Tebow’s girlfriend and now Heidi in a three-way round robin wrestling tournament, and you’ve got the pride of Florida.

Got a Tim Tebowner yet? If so, we ask, with the presumption that you’ve got a pulse, would you beat?

Artest is still ghetto; 1998 Fantasy Baseball thrives

July 31st, 2008 Reezy No comments

With MLB trades coming more frequent this year than at a Pokemon convention, we’d like to overview what might be the biggest trade deadline in recent memory:

  • Despite reports last night that said the Manny-to-Florida three-way deal was all but approved by Big Bud, Jayson Stark reports that there’s a 50-50 shot at all three GMs actually pulling the trigger before the 4 p.m. deadline.
  • With Ivan Rodriguez (done), Ken Griffey Jr. (done), and Greg Maddux (almost) getting traded, this could also be the ultimate blockbuster year for Fantasy Baseball teams from 1998.
  • Different sport, same concept: Yao Ming unleashed some Shaq-esque remarks of his own yesterday regarding the Ron Artest deal to Houston. “Hopefully, he’s not fighting anymore and going after a guy in the stands,” Yao said, prompting Artest to reply by saying:
“I understand what Yao said, but I’m still ghetto,” Artest said, according to the report. “That’s not going to change. I’m never going to change my culture. Yao has played with a lot of black players, but I don’t think he’s ever played with a black player that really represents his culture as much as I represent my culture. Once Yao Ming gets to know me, he’ll understand what I’m about.”

So this is how Erin Andrews likes it in bed

July 27th, 2008 Trance 2 comments

Ever wonder how ESPN sideline goddess Erin Andrews likes it in bed?

Sure you have.

She recently told Sporting News that she can do without all the stuff that usually goes on beds — like pillows, the blanket and the comforter.

Just a flat surface, really.

“When watching Gator football or basketball, I have to be upstairs, sitting on my bed. My bed has to be totally cleared of the pillows, comforter and the blanket.

Tim Tebow’s girlfriend: Would You Beat?

July 27th, 2008 Reezy 22 comments

Editor’s Note: We get really, really excited when hearing the first chimes of College GameDay’s theme music. TSC will have a college football season preview of the Pac-10, SEC, Big Ten and ACC in the next upcoming weeks. If that doesn’t give you the chills, check your pulse.

So I’ve been told this Tim Tebow character is a pretty big deal down in the swamp. More specifically, in the words of Sports Illustrated, Tebow has built up enough Big Man On Campus Power to reach “rock-star status” in Gainesville (origin of Erin Andrews, who was built by God on the seventh day.)

We’d like to officially kick off college football season — precisely 34 days til kickoff — with a very special “Would You Beat,” combining the power of the SEC’s Hot Shot with the SEC’s Hot Shot Hottie.

Please welcome Tim Tebow’s Girlfriend. (Yes, that’s her real name.)
