Phelps uses new gold to buy pool for his bitches

August 22nd, 2008 Trance No comments

Michael Phelps most likely won’t be swimming laps in this pool, but after winning eight gold medals at the Beijing Olympics, he’ll have plenty of women lined up to chill with him in it.

Que “Welcome to the Good Life,” by Kanye West.

The pool is just part of his new 4,080 square feet condo that’s on the shore of Baltimore. Phelps, the man-God-fish who made an estimated $3-5 million before the Summer Games, paid $1.69 million for his new pad, which includes a rooftop terrace, a movie room, a gym, a clubhouse with pool tables and sweet looking fireplace room.

It must be nice to be the King.

We hope Usher & Jeezy don’t give Eddie House’s kid nightmares

June 24th, 2008 Trance No comments

By now we know that Eddie House’s kid doesn’t have a bedtime and enjoys a lil’ Skee-Ball now and then at their neighborhood Chuck E. Cheese’s, a fine establishment for dining and entertainment.

We only hope for the sake of young Jaelen House’s sleeping patterns that he likes Young Jeezy and Usher. Otherwise, R&B puppets might give him nightmares.

UNBELIEVABLE! GREATEST COMEBACK IN FINALS HISTORY

Editor’s Note: This instant analysis was written while the shit was still fresh in my pants.

Absolutely unreal.

The Boston Celtics collected themselves for just that — a collective team effort to complete the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history in a momentum-shifting Game 4.

It came from James Posey’s clutch three-point shooting. It came from Eddie House’s remarkable floor spacing, forcing the Lakers to cover all five positions. It came from Kevin Garnett, posting up on the block and grabbing 11 rebounds. It came from Paul Pierce’s tremendous lock down defense on Kobe Bryant, effectively shutting down the MVP. And it came from Ray Allen’s nine rebounds and game-clinching layup.

No Big Three. No Big Powe. No Big Perkins. The House-Allen-Posey-Pierce-KG became the Big Five that overcame a 24-point first-half deficit as one unit.

Now, instead of facing a 2-2 series against a perfect 11-0 Laker squad at home, the Celtics took a pivotal 3-1 lead in the series, with two games back at the Garden if necessary.

Eddie House’s kid does not have a bedtime

June 9th, 2008 Reezy 5 comments

Eddie House defined the livid Arizona-ASU rivalry.

As an ex-Sun Devil, House married ex-Wildcat Mike Bibby’s sister.

That alone says something about the passion he has for the team he represents on the front of his jersey. Evidently, such intensity translated into his sperm and through Charlsie Bibby, resulting in the Boston Celtics’ 2007-08 good luck charm: Jaelen House.

Jaelen is everywhere. Slapping KG’s ass after timeouts. Jumping up and down next to Sam Cassell on a long three pointer. Jaelen, sitting or standing in front of a slue of photographers, straight up lives the dream that the majority of 47-year-old New Englanders couldn’t even fathom.

UPDATE: Certified badass video:

“He comes to all my games whenever he doesn’t have school the next morning. Sometimes when he does school the next day he’ll come. It all depends who we’re playing.”
